Independant Documentary Feature Tells Story Of POWs

Dreamkeeper Films is proud to release "Forsaken Legion: The Bataan Death March and the Defenders of the Philippines in WWII" on DVD. Writer-director Dan Traub interviews the last storytellers of WWII, those who have survived captivity at the hands of the Japanese. Cruelty and slave labor were part of what they had to endure for years, and many died.

Making of Forsaken Legion

Husband and wife team Dan and Sylvie Traub have traveled from their home in Ventura, CA , to POW reunions in Louisville, KY, San Antonio TX and Reno NV to meet these great American heroes, and interview them for this documentary DVD. They have researched in Washington, D.C. at the National Archives and collected still photos and archival film footage there, getting help from Ken Burns' researchers. They have conducted interviews in digital HD, at these reunions and also at the homes of the Veterans they met there.
